FAQ

What is OrdiChains?

OrdiChains is a cross-chain protocol that allows users to transfer BRC20 tokens to any other blockchain.

Why is it necessary to enable cross-chain transfer of BRC20 assets?

Currently, the Bitcoin blockchain does not support smart contracts, which means it lacks the infrastructure for DeFi functionalities such as DEX, lending, farming, on-chain derivatives, and algorithmic stablecoins. By enabling cross-chain transfer of BRC20 assets to the Ethereum blockchain, users can participate in the DeFi ecosystem and benefit from increased capital utilization and a wider range of opportunities.

Which blockchains does OrdiChains support for cross-chain transfers?

OrdiChains currently supports Ethereum (ETH) and Ordinals. In the future, it plans to gradually support Bitcoin, Arbirum, zkSync, and other blockchains.

Which tokens does OrdiChains support for cross-chain transfers?

OrdiChains currently supports BTC, OICH, and ORDI. In the future, it plans to gradually support ETH, BCH, LTC, NALS, MEME, DAMO, and other tokens on different blockchains.

What is OICH?

OICH is the native token of the OrdiChains platform. As a utility token, holding OICH provides benefits such as an 80% discount on cross-chain transaction fees, participation in governance voting for listing new tokens, and continuous dividends from cross-chain transaction fees.

Which wallets are supported for logging into OrdiChains?

Currently, OrdiChains supports wallets such as Unisat and MetaMask for connecting and logging in. In the future, it plans to support various other wallets such as OKEx Wallet, TokenPocket, and more.
